A beam of light surfaces from deep shadow on the Artisans d'Idées homepage.
Open Artisans d'Idées and you get a black screen with one small invitation: click to illuminate. Follow it, and the site exhales. Statues drift up out of shadow, type floats past like it's been filmed underwater, and the whole thing scrolls sideways through what feels less like a website and more like a short film with chapters.
Under the hood it's Three.js. The layout is horizontal and fullscreen, with intentionally unusual navigation, and the audio is hooked to camera state rather than wall-clock time, so every gesture you make has acoustic weight.
The site is by the Paris studio Immersive Garden, with sound by Mooders and development partnership from 60 fps.
