A cream and sepia 3D watercolor scene rendered in the browser with an ink-like motion drifting softly across the page.
Susurrus opens with a hush. You land in a cream-and-sepia watercolor world where motion drifts like ink in water and a small 3D figure waits for you to nudge it through scenes. Xianyao Wei calls it a spatial web experience, which sells it short. It plays more like stepping into a still-wet sketchbook: poetry tucked into modal corners, ambient sound that never announces itself, interactions that feel less like clicks and more like pressing a thumb into paper.
Wei is a designer and creative technologist finishing a Master's in Germany, equally at home in Three.js, Blender, TouchDesigner, and Cables.gl. The site runs on Three.js over WebGL with Blender-built geometry. Crack open devtools, scrub through the scene graph, see what the watercolor pass is actually doing.
