A glossy creative-category web experience by Rahatil & Co rendering smoothly across hardware tiers, showcasing high-end visuals tuned to hold 60fps on modest mobile devices.
Rahatil & Co poured roughly 500 hours into rahatil.co, and the surprise is where most of those hours went. Not into the visuals, which are the sort of glossy creative-category fare you'd expect. Into making the thing not turn a mid-range Android into a hand warmer. The site checks your hardware on load, picks a rendering path, and holds 60fps on modest-hardware phones. That's the kind of optimization story you usually only hear in game engine talks, which is more or less where the techniques came from.
The technical choices keep getting interesting from there. Zero dependencies, full stop. The whole codebase fits under 300KB. Yup, three hundred KB. There's also a hidden admin panel that exposes physics, camera, typography, colors, and routing as live-editable config, with global deploys resolving in under a second. No CI pipeline, no Docker, no negotiating with YAML at 2am. The audio layer has its own quiet complexity going on underneath, worth poking at if you've got headphones nearby.
Worth a click and then a deeper look. View source is genuinely readable at this size, so go read it. Try the site on the worst phone you own and watch what the runtime decides to do.
